Description
This safe expansion module is designed for relay outputs and belongs to the Modicon MCM, a range of Modular safety controllers. It has 8 forcibly guided contact safety relay outputs (8 NO + 4 NC) and 4 inputs for Start/Restart interlock and external device monitoring. It figures LEDs on its front face to display the status, removable spring clamp terminals for electrical connection and is IP20-rated. It does not require the backplane expansion connectors as it is directly wired to the selected OSSD. It has a rated supply voltage of 24V DC, a maximum power dissipation of 3W, and a Switching voltage of 10V DC. It has an electrical isolation between the contacts and the control. It weighs 0.375kg. Its dimensions are 45mm (Depth), 99mm (Height) and 114.5mm (Width). Its housing is red. It uses monitoring logic, circuit protection, and redundant relays for fail-safe operation.
