Description
This Harmony XAL, single contact block uses screw-clamp terminals and has 1 x NC contact. It is compatible with Harmony XB5 control and signaling units and XAPS control stations. This contact block allows fast and easy replacement and configuration of your push buttons and selector switches. It is easily installed and replaced on XB5 complete push-button units and selector switches and XAPS control station and connects to control circuits with simple screw-clamp connections. It protects operators from unexpected contact with live circuits thanks to its IP20 protection index. Simple modular design facilitates post installation servicing, modification and adaption of machines by non-specialists. 1 million cycle high endurance allows less maintenance and damage in your installation. Vibration resistant screw clamp connection terminals ensure high vibration resistance making product suitable installation on high impact machine.

- The Schneider Electric ZENL1121 is a high-reliability contact block from the Harmony XAL series. It is the component that actually makes or breaks the electrical connection when you press a button. Designed for a "back-of-panel" mounting style, it is a staple in Canadian industrial control systems for signaling and low-power switching.
- This block features a 1 NC contact configuration. In the world of industrial automation, "Normally Closed" means that electricity flows through the block in its resting state and is interrupted only when the button is pressed. This makes the ZENL1121 the standard choice for "Stop" buttons and safety interlocks across Canada.
- The "ZENL" prefix indicates that this is a rear-mounting block. Unlike the "ZBE" blocks that clip onto a metal collar behind a panel, these are designed to snap directly into the base of a Harmony XALD or XALK plastic control station. This design keeps the wiring neatly tucked away in the back of the box, away from the moving button mechanism.
- Equipped with silver alloy contacts, the ZENL1121 is designed for high electrical durability. It is rated for AC-15 and DC-13 (pilot duty), meaning it can reliably handle the inductive inrush of contactor coils or relay inputs without "pitting" or sticking, even in high-vibration environments like Canadian sawmills or packaging plants.
- The block features IP20-rated finger-safe screw terminals. These terminals are easy to wire using standard Canadian #14 to #18 AWG industrial wire. The screws are designed with high-torque capability to ensure a "gas-tight" connection that won't vibrate loose over time.
