• Engineered with advanced time-delay properties, the AJT15 is designed to "ride through" the temporary high inrush currents of small motors and control transformers. It provides a minimum of 10 seconds of delay at 500% of its rating, effectively eliminating nuisance tripping during equipment startup while maintaining instantaneous protection against dangerous short circuits.
• As a highly current-limiting fuse, the AJT15 reacts in less than 1/4 of a cycle during a fault. By drastically limiting the peak "let-through" energy ($I^2t$), it shields sensitive components like Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and PLC modules from catastrophic thermal damage, often achieving Type 2 "No Damage" protection.
