Description
Amp-Trap 2000® AJT fuses provide non-indication as well as a SmartSpot visual open fuse indicator. With advanced material technology the AJT fuse provides IEC Type 2 No Damage protection to main, feeder, and branch circuits, for all types of loads — yet, they require only half the mounting space needed for 600VAC Class RK fuses. AJT’s time-delay characteristics are ideal for handling typical motor and transformer inrush currents, while also providing superior current-limiting ability.

- The Mersen AJT25 is a 25-Amp, 600V AC Class J time-delay fuse. As part of the Amp-Trap 2000® series, it is a premium, current-limiting fuse designed to provide high-level protection for mains, feeders, and branch circuits while requiring significantly less mounting space than older Class RK fuses.
- It includes a solid-state visual indicator (a high-visibility orange label) that provides instant recognition of an open fuse. This allows maintenance teams to identify and replace blown fuses quickly, reducing downtime in complex industrial control panels.
- The AJT25 is engineered with a dual-element time-delay characteristic. This allows the fuse to handle the high "inrush" currents typically associated with motor starting and transformer energizing without nuisance tripping, while still providing rapid protection against dangerous short-circuit events.
- The AJT25 features Class J rejection dimensions, measuring approximately 2-1/4 inches in length and 13/16 inches in diameter. This unique physical size prevents the accidental installation of fuses with lower interrupting ratings (like Class H or K), ensuring your system maintains its engineered level of safety.
- Rated for an impressive 200,000 Amps (200kA) interrupting capacity at 600V AC (and self-certified for up to 300kA), the AJT25 is one of the most current-limiting fuses available. It effectively reduces "Arc Flash" energy and protects downstream components from the catastrophic peak currents of a major electrical fault.
