Description
Amp-Trap 2000® AJT fuses provide non-indication as well as a SmartSpot visual open fuse indicator. With advanced material technology the AJT fuse provides IEC Type 2 No Damage protection to main, feeder, and branch circuits, for all types of loads — yet, they require only half the mounting space needed for 600VAC Class RK fuses. AJT’s time-delay characteristics are ideal for handling typical motor and transformer inrush currents, while also providing superior current-limiting ability.

- The Mersen AJT10 is a high-performance, current-limiting Class J fuse rated for 10 Amps. It is specifically engineered to provide "Type 2" No-Damage protection for sensitive motor circuits and control components, ensuring that your equipment survives high-energy short circuits without requiring a complete system overhaul.
- Featuring a sophisticated Time-Delay characteristic, the AJT10 can withstand the temporary high-current inrush of motors and transformers without nuisance blowing. This "dual-element" design ignores harmless surges but reacts instantly to dangerous overloads, making it the ideal choice for Canadian industrial HVAC and pumping systems.
- The AJT10 boasts an extreme 200,000 Amp Interrupting Rating (AIC) at 600V AC. This industry-leading capacity ensures that the fuse can safely clear even the most catastrophic short circuits, preventing arc-flash damage and protecting both your personnel and your facility's electrical distribution system.
- As a current-limiting fuse, the AJT10 clears faults so quickly that it prevents the peak current from ever reaching its full destructive potential. - The Class J physical format is significantly smaller than legacy Class R or Class H fuses, saving valuable space in your control panel.
