Description

Amp-Trap 2000 time-delay ATDR small-dimension fuses provide IEC Type 2 "no damage" protection to your facility's increasingly sensitive branch circuit components and small motors - minimizing the risk of fault-related damage. ATDR Class CC fuses deliver the best time-delay characteristics in their class with excellent cycling ability for small motor loads.

Features

  • The ATDR30 is a 30-Amp, 600V Class CC fuse featuring a specialized rejection tip. This physical safety feature ensures that only a high-performance Class CC fuse can be installed in the holder, preventing the accidental use of lower-rated "midget" fuses that could fail to protect your critical branch circuits during a major fault.
  • Specifically engineered for small motor and control transformer protection, the ATDR30 provides exceptional time-delay characteristics. It is designed to "ride through" the massive initial current surges of inductive loads without nuisance tripping, while still providing ultra-fast protection against actual overcurrent events.
  • As a highly current-limiting component, the ATDR30 provides Type 2 "No Damage" protection. In the event of a short circuit, it reacts in less than half a cycle (<0.008 seconds) to drastically limit the peak "let-through" energy (I^2t). This prevents catastrophic thermal damage to downstream components like contactors and solid-state starters.
  • With a massive 200,000 Amp RMS interrupting rating, this fuse is suitable for the most demanding power systems. It allows for a high Short Circuit Current Rating (SCCR) in your control panels, ensuring the fuse can safely clear a catastrophic short circuit without the risk of an explosion or Arc Flash hazard.
  • Constructed with a high-grade fiberglass body and silver-plated copper contact caps, the ATDR30 offers superior dimensional stability. Unlike cheaper plastic-bodied fuses, it will not become brittle or lose calibration when exposed to the high-heat, high-vibration environments common in industrial machinery and HVAC systems.
