Features
- This robust 3-pole (3P) switch handles a continuous operational current of up to 100 Amps. It is rated for system voltages up to 240 V AC or 250 V DC, delivering strong operational limits for standard 3-phase commercial and industrial settings, with a maximum motor power rating of 30 hp at 240 V AC.
- The enclosure door features a factory-installed fused viewing window. This allows maintenance crews to safely perform visual inspections and confirm the physical separation of the switch blades with the door completely shut—drastically reducing unnecessary exposure to dangerous arc-flash hazards on the facility floor.
- Built with a high-end quick-make, quick-break operating mechanism, the internal blade contacts snap open or closed at high velocity independent of handle speed, suppressing electrical arcing. It incorporates a dual-cover safety interlock system that physically blocks the enclosure door from opening while the switch is in the "ON" position, and blocks the handle from engaging if the front door is left unlatched.
- Custom-engineered as a high-reliability single-throw manual disconnect, this fusible safety switch isolates power loops under full load conditions. Belonging to the modern VisiPacT series, it functions as a main service entrance or branch-circuit protector, isolating downstream machinery while providing short-circuit defense via integrated industrial line fuses.
- Housed in a durable NEMA Type 1 indoor steel enclosure, this surface-mounted unit features a 4-wire configuration (3P + N) complete with a factory-installed solid neutral assembly that is pre-bonded to the frame. Shipped ready to accept high-capacity Class J fuses for an exceptional short-circuit current rating (SCCR) of up to 200 kA, it includes pre-installed equipment grounding lugs and complies with UL 98 and CSA C22.2 No. 4 standards for a quick, code-compliant field sign-off.
