Description

This product is part of the Modicon X80 range, a common platform of modules for Modicon M580 and M340 Programmable Automation Controllers (PAC). This Ethernet backplane rack is an accessory of programmable automation controllers. This 12-slot dual Ethernet and X-bus backplane provides 12 slots with 8 Ethernet and X-bus connectors for mixed modules and 4 X-bus connectors for X-bus modules. This ruggedized product can be used in more severe environments, and operate in an extended temperature range, from -25°C to +70°C. It is an Ethernet backplane rack with a current of 164mA at 24V DC and 86mA at 3.3V DC. It is furnished with 1 connector (XBE) expansion module for electrical connection. It offers 1500000 hours of MTBF. It is an IP20 rated product. It weighs 1.377kg. It is suitable for severe environments, medium to large process applications. It meets EN 61131-2, EN 61000-6-4, EN 61000-6-2 and EN 61010-2-201 standards. This Ethernet backplane rack is compatible with specific application module, I/O module, BMXCPS power supply, BMX processor and BME processor. Modicon X80 consists in a compatible modules common platform that reduce maintenance and training costs with same spare parts in stock, and unique training for different Programmable Automation Controllers (PAC).
