Description

This TM3 safety expansion module monitors emergency shutdown pushbuttons and limit switches to conform to PLd / Category 3. It meets the requirements of PL d/Category 3 conforming to EN/ISO 13849-1 and SILCL 2 conforming to EN/IEC 62061. It has a module locking latch, 2 TM3 bus connectors designed to provide continuity of the link between connected modules, a symmetrical rail locking clip, display block for the module channels and diagnostics. It completes your Modicon M221, M241 or M251 PLC configuration with a dedicated safety I/O, without the need to use a complete safety controller. It has removable terminals for easier and better control wires tightening, thus improving installation reliability. It has spring terminals for fast and reliable wiring of safety circuits.
