Description

This TM3 safety expansion module monitors emergency shutdown pushbuttons, limit switches, light curtains and safety mats/edges. It meets the requirements of PL e/Category 4 conforming to EN/ISO 13849-1 and SILCL3 conforming to EN/IEC 62061. It has a module locking latch, 2 TM3 bus connectors designed to provide continuity of the link between connected modules, a symmetrical rail locking clip, display block for the module channels and diagnostics. It completes your Modicon M221, M241 or M251 PLC configuration with a dedicated safety I/O, without the need to use a complete safety controller. It has removable terminals for easier and better control wires tightening, thus improving installation reliability. It is compatible with emergency push buttons, limit switches, safety light curtains and safety mats/edges, the 4 most common safety sensors in the industry.
