Description

TeSys D contactor, 3 poles (3NO), for motor control applications up to 18A/690V AC-3/3e (7.5kW@400V). It provides a low consumption 24V DC coil with transient suppressor module, 1NO+1NC built-in auxiliary contacts (NC mirror certified), connection by ring-lugs screw terminals. For operating rates until 3600 cycles/hour and environments until 60°C, it procures high reliability and durability. Compact (45mm width), DIN-rail mounting or screw fixing. Multi standards certified (IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC, Marine), Green Premium compliant (RoHS/REACh).

Features

  • As a core component of the world-class Schneider Electric TeSys D line, this 18A contactor is designed for seamless mechanical and electrical integration with LR D overload relays and GV motor circuit breakers. This modular ecosystem allows industrial engineers to build compact, standardized motor starters that save significant panel space while simplifying the global sourcing of replacement parts.
  • Featuring a high-efficiency 24V DC "BL" low-consumption coil, this contactor requires only 2.4W of power to operate. This allows for direct control via 500mA digital outputs on most PLCs and industrial controllers, significantly reducing total system cost, cooling requirements, and wiring complexity within your control enclosure.
  • This model comes factory-equipped with a built-in bidirectional peak-limiting diode to suppress the transient voltage surges created when the coil is de-energized. By clipping these inductive "kicks" at the source, you ensure the long-term reliability of your PLC transistors and other sensitive solid-state electronics, preventing premature board failure and costly system resets
  • Utilizing Schneider’s patented EverLink power terminal technology, this contactor maintains a constant pressure on the power cables even if the copper strands creep over time. This high-integrity connection eliminates the common industrial pain point of periodic terminal re-tightening and drastically reduces the risk of localized overheating and electrical fires in high-vibration environments.
