Description
TeSys GV auxiliary contact block, for motor circuit breakers GV2 and GV3. 1NO fault signaling contact + 1NO instantaneous auxiliary contact. Instantaneous auxiliary contact rated for operation up to 6A/690V AC and 6A/240V DC. Fault signaling contact rated for operation up to 2A/240V AC and 1A/60V DC. To be installed on left-hand side of the circuit breaker (1 block mounting maximum), connection by screw clamp terminals. Multi standards certified (IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC).
Features
- Engineered with a specialized 2NO pole composition, this TeSys auxiliary contact provides one instantaneous contact and one dedicated fault signaling contact. This dual architecture allows your control system to distinguish between a manual motor shutdown and an actual overcurrent trip, giving your PLC the precise feedback data needed to initiate corrective system safety routines.
- This add-on contact block is natively compatible with the complete TeSys GV2 and GV3 series of manual motor protectors including GV2L, GV2LE, GV2ME, GV2P, GV2RT, GV3L, and GV3P frames (excluding GV3ME). This precise physical integration guarantees that mechanical linkages line up flawlessly, preventing loose connections or skipped feedback triggers during rapid-cycle trip events.
- Built to handle multiple control voltage profiles, the instantaneous contact supports up to 6A at 690 VAC, while the fault signaling path is rated for up to 2.5A conventional thermal current. With an insulation rating of 300V per UL 508 and CSA standards, it easily manages low-power PLC signaling and high-voltage control lines without the risk of cross-talk or physical isolation breakdowns.
- Designed with an ultra-slim profile measuring only 0.37 inches (9.3 mm) in width, this left-side mount block snaps directly onto the main circuit breaker housing. Its ultra-lightweight 0.12 lb (55 g) design provides instantaneous mechanical connectivity, avoiding bulky mounting brackets or complex bracket hardware.
- Fully verified to IEC 60947-1, UL 508, and CSA C22.2 No 14 benchmarks, this contact block features a premium mechanical durability profile rated for 100,000 continuous operation cycles.
