Description
GV3P32 is a TeSys GV motor circuit breaker from Schneider Electric. It ensures thermal-magnetic protection for motors 15kW@400V and high breaking capacity Icu 100kA. Start-stop control by rotary knob guaranteed for 50 000 cycles AC-3 415V. GV3P32 is a TeSys GV motor circuit breaker from Schneider Electric designed for motor applications 15kW@400V. It fulfills a thermal-magnetic protection with a thermal setting range 23-32A, magnetic tripping at 14xIn and high breaking capacity Icu 100kA@400V. Start-stop control by rotary knob guaranteed for 50 000 cycles AC-3 415V. Complete motor protection in a single device , short-circuit, overload, disconnection. Associated with a TeSys contactor, it ensures a complete type 1 or type 2 Motor Starter solution. Compact, 55mm wide, for DIN-rail and panel mounting. Manual control with rotary knob for Start / Stop, padlockable. Possible mounting of auxiliary contacts front or side mounted (GVAE, GVAN, GVAD) for status and tripping signaling. For large industrial or building LV distribution networks thanks to a high 100kA breaking capacity. Power connections with EverLink BTR screw connectors providing constant tightening pressure. Can be associated with undervoltage or shunt tripping units (GVAU, GVAS) and power distribution busbars (GV3G).
Features
- This TeSys GV3 manual motor starter features a precision-adjustable Class 10 thermal-magnetic trip unit that actively defends three-phase equipment against damaging overloads, short circuits, and phase failures. By automatically severing power before sustained fault currents can degrade expensive motor windings, it prevents catastrophic machinery failures and significantly reduces unplanned downtime on your manufacturing floor.
- Engineered with Schneider Electric s exclusive EverLink creep-compensating connector technology, this breaker utilizes a unique spring-based system to maintain constant pressure on bare cables, even as copper naturally compresses. This advanced anti-loosening design guarantees a highly secure, maintenance-free electrical connection in heavy-vibration industrial environments, permanently eliminating the dangerous risk of thermal hotspots and electrical arcing.
- The ergonomic, front-facing rotary dial provides a clear visual status indication (ON, OFF, or TRIPPED) to speed up troubleshooting in crowded motor control centers (MCC). To ensure strict compliance with OSHA Lockout/Tagout workplace safety protocols, the handle directly accepts multiple padlocks in the OFF position, protecting maintenance personnel from accidental re-energization while servicing 600V heavy-duty machinery.
- Despite delivering a robust 50kA short-circuit interrupting rating (Icu) at 400/415V, this high-performance motor circuit protector features a streamlined 55mm-wide footprint that easily snaps onto standard 35mm or 75mm DIN rails. This space-saving geometry allows panel builders to pack more automated control components into high-density electrical cabinets, reducing overall enclosure costs while maintaining optimal thermal heat dissipation.
