Description
CHOM Load Centers offer features HOM breakers, ground fault circuit breakers and arc fault interrupters. CHOM Load Centers enable the use of a full complement of accessories. Systems are single phase and are rated for indoor use or are rain proof. CHOM load centers are designed for residential and industrial use to protect electrical systems, equipment and people. This CHOM Load Center has a plug on neutral main circuit breaker that is rated at 200 A single phase. This CHOM load center provides a 22 kA breaking capacity. This system provides 60 spaces in a NEMA 1 enclosure. The electrical connections are lugs. A grounding bar is included but not installed. The box lugs will accept a wire range of 4 AWG to 250 kcmil copper or aluminum wire. This HOM Homeline load center has a height of 43.15 inches, a width of 14.25 inches and depth of 3.75 inches. The combination flush surface cover is painted white. Does not include a CHOMDK602 door. HOM Homeline load centers are CSA certified.

The designation 60/120 is the key: it provides 60 full-size spaces that can accommodate up to 120 circuits using tandem (twin) breakers. For a Canadian homeowner, this is the ultimate "future-proof" panel, offering more than enough room for EV chargers, heat pumps, hot tubs, and basement suites without ever needing a sub-panel.
- This loadcentre comes factory-installed with a 200-Amp main breaker. In the Canadian residential market, 200A has become the modern standard for new construction and service upgrades, providing the necessary "headroom" for all-electric homes. As a Main Breaker panel, it is fully approved for use as Service Entrance equipment under the CEC (Canadian Electrical Code).
- This model features the advanced Plug-on Neutral bus bar. In traditional panels, AFCI and GFCI breakers require a "pigtail" wire to connect to the neutral bar. With PoN, the breaker clips directly onto the neutral bar, eliminating the pigtail. This reduces wire clutter inside the 48-inch tall enclosure and can save an electrician up to 20% on installation time.
- While many standard residential panels are rated at 10kA, the CHOM60120M200GC features a 22,000 Amp (22kA) short-circuit current rating. This higher breaking capacity provides a superior level of protection against catastrophic electrical faults, ensuring the main breaker can safely interrupt high-energy surges from the utility grid.
