Description
CHOM Load Centers offer features HOM breakers, ground fault circuit breakers and arc fault interrupters. CHOM Load Centers enable the use of a full complement of accessories. Systems are single phase and are rated for indoor use or are rain proof. CHOM load centers are designed for residential and industrial use to protect electrical systems, equipment and people. This CHOM Load Center has a plug on neutral main circuit breaker that is rated at 60 A single phase. This CHOM load center provides a 22 kA breaking capacity. This system provides 12 spaces in a NEMA 1 enclosure. The electrical connections are lugs. A grounding bar is included but not installed. The box lugs will accept a wire range of 6 AWG to 2/0 AWG copper or aluminum wire. This HOM Homeline load center has a height of 17.92 inches, a width of 14.25 inches and depth of 3.75 inches. The combination flush surface cover is painted white. HOM Homeline load centers are CSA certified.

- This is a Homeline 60-Amp, 1-Phase, 120/240V AC Main Breaker Loadcentre. It serves as a compact service entrance panel or a robust sub-panel, specifically tailored for the Canadian residential market. It’s the "little brother" to the 100A version, perfect for smaller power requirements.
- The "1224" coding means the panel has 12 physical slots for full-size breakers. However, it is designed to accept tandem (wafer) breakers, allowing you to expand up to a total of 24 circuits. This is an excellent balance for a cottage, a small basement suite, or a detached workshop where you need more than just a few circuits but don't need a massive 200A service.
- This unit comes with a factory-installed 60-Amp main breaker. This serves as the primary disconnect for the panel. In many Canadian jurisdictions, this makes it an ideal "all-in-one" solution for small outbuildings or secondary structures that require their own dedicated shut-off.
- The "GC" suffix is key for Canadian installers—it indicates that a ground bar is factory-installed. This ensures you can meet Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) bonding requirements immediately without having to run back to the supply house for a separate grounding kit.
- With its compact footprint and NEMA Type 1 indoor-rated galvanized steel enclosure, this panel is designed for surface or flush mounting in dry locations. Its "straight-in" wiring design makes it much easier to pull and land conductors in tight spaces, such as small mechanical closets or between wall studs.
