Description

CHOM Load Centers offer features HOM breakers, ground fault circuit breakers and arc fault interrupters. CHOM Load Centers enable the use of a full complement of accessories. Systems are single phase and are rated for indoor use or are rain proof. CHOM load centers are designed for residential and industrial use to protect electrical systems, equipment and people. This CHOM Load Center has a plug on neutral main circuit breaker that is rated at 100 A single phase. This CHOM load center provides a 22 kA breaking capacity. This system provides 24 spaces in a NEMA 1 enclosure. The electrical connections are lugs. A grounding bar is included but not installed. The box lugs will accept a wire range of 6 AWG to 2/0 AWG copper or aluminum wire. This HOM Homeline load center has a height of 26.04 inches, a width of 14.25 inches and depth of 3.75 inches. The combination flush surface cover is painted white. HOM Homeline load centers are CSA certified.

The Schneider CHOM2448M100GC is a high-capacity Homeline load center featuring 24 physical spaces that can accommodate up to 48 circuits when using tandem breakers. This "double-density" design is perfect for modern Canadian homes, providing ample room for future basement renovations, EV charger additions, or heat pump installations without needing a costly panel upgrade.
This panel comes factory-installed with a 100-Amp factory-sealed main breaker, serving as the single point of disconnect for your entire home. Designed for 120/240V single-phase service, the main breaker features a high 22kA interrupting rating (AIC), ensuring your electrical system can safely withstand and clear high-energy faults from the utility grid.
Engineered for the professional installer, this load center features a Plug-on Neutral bus bar. This allows for the installation of Square D CAFI and Dual Function breakers without the need for white pigtail wires. This technology results in a significantly cleaner "gutter" area, reduces wiring time by up to 25%, and makes troubleshooting branch circuit faults much simpler for homeowners and electricians.
This load center is housed in a rugged NEMA 1 indoor-rated welded sheet steel enclosure with a white combination flush/surface cover. Measuring approximately 26 inches high by 14.25 inches wide, it is designed to fit perfectly between standard 16-inch on-center wall studs, providing a clean, professional finish in utility rooms, garages, or finished basements.
The high-quality tin-plated aluminum bus bars and mechanical lugs are designed to accommodate a wide wire range from #6 AWG to 2/0 AWG in both copper and aluminum. This flexibility allows for easy installation of service entrance cables and ensures a secure, low-resistance connection that meets the stringent requirements of the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC).
