Description
This braking resistor is an option for servo drives of Lexium range and variable speed drives of Altivar range when used with synchronous motors. It dissipates the braking energy, and enables maximum transient braking torque. It has anohmic value of 27Ohms and a cable lenght of 0.75m. This external braking resistor is required to dissipate the excess braking energy when the servo motor has to be braked frequently. Its protection index is IP65. The operating temperature around the unit can be between 0degrecentigrade and plus 50degrecentigrade. It weighs 0.630kg. The external braking resistor is required to dissipate the excess braking energy when the servo motor has to be braked frequently. It is compliant with Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU and EMC Directive 2014/30/EU. This external braking resistor is compatible with Easy Lexium 16 servo drives. It is sold by one piece.
