- As a specialized Low-Peak™ rejection-style fuse, this 4-amp component is designed to be significantly more current-limiting than standard fuses. It rapidly interrupts fault currents before they reach their peak, shielding sensitive branch circuit components, such as small motor controllers and solid-state relays, from the violent thermal and magnetic forces of a short circuit.
- Built with a dual-element time-delay design, this fuse allows for a temporary 12-second surge at 200% of its rated current to accommodate the high inrush demands of control transformers and small motors. This advanced engineering eliminates "nuisance tripping," ensuring your industrial machinery stays operational during startup while providing 600V AC protection for sustained overloads.
- With a massive 200,000 Amp interrupting rating at 600V, this fuse is capable of safely clearing catastrophic faults even in high-density electrical environments. Utilizing a high IR fuse ensures that your control panels meet the most stringent Short Circuit Current Rating (SCCR) requirements, protecting your facility and personnel from explosive arc-flash events.
