Description
This Harmony XB7, monolithic black selector switch has 3 positions, operates with a spring-return-to-center mechanism and screw clamp terminals. It is easily installed into standard 22mm diameter cut-outs and connected to your control circuits with simple screw-clamp connections. It provides an effective manner to give your machine multiple different inputs. It is impact resistant, dust resistant, water resistant and vibration resistant thanks to its IP65, making it ideal for operation in harsh environments. It has a double insulated plastic bezel. Its wide range of operating temperatures from -25°C to 70°C allows versatility in usage of product.
Features
- The Schneider XB7ND33 is a 22mm, 3-position selector switch from the Harmony XB7 range. Unlike the modular XB5 series, the XB7 is monolithic, meaning the operator head, mounting collar, and contact blocks are all built into a single, one-piece unit. This makes it an extremely cost-effective and simple solution for basic control panels.
- This switch features a 90° throw with three stable positions: Left, Center, and Right. It is a "stay-put" (maintained) switch, meaning it will remain in whichever position you turn it to. This is typically used for Hand-Off-Auto (H-O-A) configurations or for selecting between three different modes of operation.
- The XB7ND33 comes factory-equipped with 2 NO (Normally Open) contacts. In the Left position, one contact is closed. In the Center position, both contacts are open (OFF). In the Right position, the other contact is closed. This allows for simple logic switching without needing to purchase or snap on additional contact blocks.
- It is a single-piece plastic unit, the XB7ND33 is incredibly easy to install—you simply insert it through a 22mm hole and tighten the single rear locking nut. It is made of high-strength, double-insulated plastic, making it ideal for environments where you want to avoid metal parts for safety or chemical resistance reasons.
- This switch carries an IP65 and NEMA 4/13 rating. It is dust-tight and protected against low-pressure water jets, making it suitable for standard industrial environments and control stations. Its smooth black handle is designed for easy operation even while wearing work gloves.
