Description

TeSys D contactor, 3 poles (3NO), for motor control applications up to 18A/690V AC-3/3e (7.5kW@400V). They can be used to create motor starters for almost any type of application. It provides a 208V 50/60Hz AC coil, 1NO+1NC built-in auxiliary contacts (NC mirror certified), connection by screw clamp terminals. For operating rates until 3600 cycles/hour and environments until 60°C, it procures high reliability and durability. Compact (45mm width), DIN-rail mounting or screw fixing. Contactor is rated for 5HP at 200-208VAC, 5HP at 240VAC, 10HP at 480VAC and 15HP at 600VAC three phase. Multi standards certified (IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC, Marine), Green Premium compliant (RoHS/REACh). When used with a 480VAC up to 60A circuit breaker, this contactor can have a SCCR up to 85kA. When used with up to a 600VAC 40A Class J or CC fuse, this contactor can have a SCCR up to 100kA. Contactor is supplied with a 208 VAC 50/60 Hz coil. Contactor has one normally open and one normally closed auxiliary contact built-in as standard. The NC contact is mirror certified. Screw clamp terminals are used for load and auxiliary connections. An extensive line of accessories makes it easy to meet the requirements of most applications. The contactor is 3.03 inches tall, 1.77 inches wide and 3.39 inches deep. It weighs 0.73 lbs. Contactor is certified to UL, CSA, IEC, CCC, EAC and Marine standards. Contactor also meets the requirements of RoHS/REACh making it a Green Premium product.

  • Outfitted with a dedicated 208V AC control coil at 50/60 Hz, this device matches the standard line-to-line control voltages found across commercial building infrastructure. The optimized coil mechanics draw minimal holding current, lowering the thermal footprint inside your enclosure and reducing the strain on upstream control transformers.
  • Shipped with factory-integrated 1 Normally Open and 1 Normally Closed auxiliary contacts, this contactor eliminates the need for expensive add-on modules. This allows industrial control panels to instantly execute secondary tasks—such as sending a run-status confirmation to a PLC while simultaneously illuminating an external cabinet indicator light or handling a safety interlock loop.
  • Featuring a rugged, low-profile frame equipped with high-retention terminal clamps, the contactor mounts securely to standard 35mm DIN rails or directly onto a panel backplate with screws. This mechanical stability ensures total resistance against intense industrial shocks and continuous machinery vibrations, avoiding loose wire connections and tracking faults over years of service.
