Description
This contact block is a separate component of the range of control and signaling units, Harmony 9001K / 9001SK diameter 30mm. It is compatible with Harmony 9001K or 9001SK push buttons and switches. It uses screw-clamp terminals and has 1 x NO contact. This contact block allows fast and easy replacement and configuration of your push buttons and selector switches. It features standard contact operation. Its protection index is IP20, protecting operators from unexpected contact with live circuits. It weighs 23g. The 30 mm Harmony range offers a large choice of robust and reliable products to meet a great number of applications in heavy industries such as petrochemy, metallurgy, mining oil and gas wastewater treatment, automobile manufacturing. It is UL listed and CSA certified, CE declaration of conformity and RoHS compliant.
Features
- The Schneider Square D 9001KA2 is a modular, heavy-duty contact block designed for the Harmony 9001K and 9001SK series of 30mm industrial push buttons and selector switches. It functions as the electrical "switching engine" behind the operator head, translating a physical press or turn into an electrical signal to control machinery or industrial processes.
- This specific model features a 1 NO (Normally Open) contact configuration. In its resting state, the circuit is open and no power flows; when the associated push button is pressed, the contact closes to complete the circuit. To aid in visual identification on a busy panel, the 9001KA2 typically features a green housing or green color-coding, the industry standard for "Start" or "Go" functions.
- Built for the rigors of industrial environments, the 9001KA2 is rated for up to 10 Amps at 600V AC/DC (NEMA A600/Q600). This high amperage and voltage rating makes it suitable for direct control of motor starter coils, heavy-duty relays, and high-wattage indicator lamps across diverse industrial voltages.
- The block is equipped with IP20 finger-safe screw clamp terminals.
