Description
This contact block is a separate component of the range of control and signaling units, Harmony 9001K / 9001SK diameter 30mm. It is compatible with Harmony 9001K or 9001SK push buttons and switches. It uses screw-clamp terminals and has 1 x NC contact. This contact block allows fast and easy replacement and configuration of your push buttons and selector switches. It features standard contact operation. Its protection index is IP20, protecting operators from unexpected contact with live circuits. It weighs 23g. The 30 mm Harmony range offers a large choice of robust and reliable products to meet a great number of applications in heavy industries such as petrochemy, metallurgy, mining oil and gas wastewater treatment, automobile manufacturing. It is UL listed and CSA certified, CE declaration of conformity and RoHS compliant.

- The 9001KA3 is a heavy-duty contact block designed for the Schneider Electric (Square D) 9001K 30mm push button and selector switch range. It is the internal "switch" that actually makes or breaks the electrical connection when you press a button or turn a knob on a control panel.
- his block features two separate circuits: 1 NO (Normally Open): The circuit is open until the operator is pressed. 1 NC (Normally Closed): The circuit is closed until the operator is pressed. This "1 NO + 1 NC" setup is the industry standard for motor control, where the NO contact is used for a "Start" function and the NC contact for a "Stop" or "Interlock" function.
- The 9001K series is a "Type K" heavy-duty, oil-tight, and dust-tight system. The 9001KA3 is built with a high-impact plastic housing and silver alloy contacts to withstand the harsh vibrations and chemical exposure often found in Canadian mining, oil and gas, and manufacturing facilities.
- One of the best features of the 9001K system is that these blocks are stackable. You can mount several 9001KA3 blocks behind a single push button to control multiple independent circuits simultaneously. They are held together by two captive mounting screws, making it easy to expand your control logic without replacing the entire operator.
