Description
Harmony 22 mm modular push buttons, selector switches, pilot lights are designed for industry. This range combines simplicity of setup, flexibility and a robust construction. An ingenious locking system consisting of a snap fit head and body that can be tightened with a single screw but still ensuring an easy and yet secure mounting. Harmony XB4/ZB4 are 22 mm chromium plated metal modular push buttons, selector switches and pilot lights connecting to fully metal mounting collar. The operators can be purchased as complete operators or various modules that can be assembled to meet the user’s specific requirement. Harmony XB5/ZB5 are 22 mm plastic modular push buttons, selector switches, pilot lights. The operator can have a round and square plastic bezel. The contacts can be used for low load electrical contact and high power applications. Shake proof connection screws make periodic retightening unnecessary. A complete set of accessories to provide a solution for applications where exposure to high pressure cleaning, dust and extreme temperatures is an everyday occurrence. These harmony 22mm push buttons are used by machine manufacturers (automotive, textiles, timber) and control system panel builders. Certified and approved for meeting requirements throughout all continents: EN/IEC, UL, NEMA, CSA, CCC, Gost, JIS and many more. They have UL and CE markings and have ratings up to IP66 and IP69K.
Features
- The ZB2BE101 is a 22mm Normally Open (NO) contact block. While originally part of the legacy ZB2 series, it remains a critical spare part and a highly compatible component for the current Harmony XB4 (metal) and XB5 (plastic) ranges, as well as XAC pendant stations. It acts as the electrical switch that closes a circuit when the associated push button or selector switch is pressed.
- This is a front-mounting contact block, meaning it clips onto the back of a mounting collar (such as the ZB4BZ009). Its "snap-fit" design allows for tool-free installation and removal, making it a favorite for Canadian panel builders who need to quickly add or replace logic in a control circuit.
- Designed for industrial-grade performance, the ZB2BE101 is rated for 10 Amps (thermal current) and up to 600V AC. It is categorized under A600/Q600 pilot duty, meaning it can reliably handle the high inrush currents of contactor coils and industrial relays commonly found in Canadian manufacturing and processing plants.
- The block utilizes slow-break contact operation. This means the internal contacts move at the same speed as the push button operator. This is standard for most industrial signaling and control logic where a fast "snap action" is not specifically required, providing a simpler and often more durable mechanical design.
- Equipped with heavy-duty screw clamp terminals, the ZB2BE101 ensures a secure, gas-tight connection. These terminals are designed to resist loosening caused by the vibration of heavy machinery critical for maintaining electrical continuity in Canadian forestry, mining, and industrial automation.
