Description
This additionnal contact block for high power switching is a separate component of diameter 22mm XB4 or XB5 ranges It features a single NO contact block and screw connection type. It is easily fitted on the back of high power switching contacts ZBE50x.
Features
- The ZB2BE101 is a 22mm Normally Open (NO) contact block. While originally part of the legacy ZB2 series, it remains a critical spare part and a highly compatible component for the current Harmony XB4 (metal) and XB5 (plastic) ranges, as well as XAC pendant stations. It acts as the electrical switch that closes a circuit when the associated push button or selector switch is pressed.
- This is a front-mounting contact block, meaning it clips onto the back of a mounting collar (such as the ZB4BZ009). Its "snap-fit" design allows for tool-free installation and removal, making it a favorite for Canadian panel builders who need to quickly add or replace logic in a control circuit.
- Designed for industrial-grade performance, the ZB2BE101 is rated for 10 Amps (thermal current) and up to 600V AC. It is categorized under A600/Q600 pilot duty, meaning it can reliably handle the high inrush currents of contactor coils and industrial relays commonly found in Canadian manufacturing and processing plants.
- The block utilizes slow-break contact operation. This means the internal contacts move at the same speed as the push button operator. This is standard for most industrial signaling and control logic where a fast "snap action" is not specifically required, providing a simpler and often more durable mechanical design.
- Equipped with heavy-duty screw clamp terminals, the ZB2BE101 ensures a secure, gas-tight connection. These terminals are designed to resist loosening caused by the vibration of heavy machinery—critical for maintaining electrical continuity in Canadian forestry, mining, and industrial automation.
