Description
8910DP definite purpose magnetic contactors are designed for heating, air conditioning and refrigeration applications. This line of definite purpose contactors has current ratings up to 120 amperes resistive and 50 HP at 600 VAC. This two pole definite purpose contactor has a full load rating of 30 ampere and a resistive rating of 40 amperes. It also has a 2 HP at 115 VAC single phase, 5 HP at 230 VAC single phase and 10 HP at 230 VAC three phase, 15 HP at 460 VAC three phase and 20 HP at 575 VAC three phase. The nonreplaceable coil is available with a variety of coil voltages. This device has a 24 VAC 50/60 Hz coil. The contactor has straight through wiring. Contactor is 3.75 inches by 2.37 inches and 3.00 tall. These contactors are UL component recognized and CSA certified.

- The Schneider Electric Square D 8910DPA32V14 is a Class 8910 Type DPA definite purpose contactor engineered specifically for heating, air conditioning, and commercial refrigeration systems. It features a 2-pole (2P) configuration with 2 Normally Open (NO) power contacts, making it the ideal drop-in solution for cycling single-phase inductive motor loads up to 5 HP at 230 VAC or 2 HP at 115 VAC.
- Built for demanding start-stop operations, this motor control device features a 30-amp full load amperage (FLA) rating for inductive loads and a robust 40-amp resistive amperage (ARA) rating. It safely handles a locked rotor rated current (LRA) of up to 180A at 277V, eliminating common pain points like contact welding and premature component failure caused by severe electrical inrush during compressor or fan startup.
- This electro-mechanical contactor is equipped with a high-efficiency 24 VAC control coil operating at 50/60 Hz, ensuring seamless compatibility with low-voltage thermostats and control circuits. It eliminates the risk of system mismatches by ensuring the contacts close firmly and reliably under low-voltage signaling, protecting your system from high-resistance chattering.
- Designed to reduce field maintenance times, the unit features straight-through wiring with standard binder head screw terminals and integrated quick-connect terminals for flexible, secure wire terminations. Its ultra-compact open frame design (3.75" H x 2.37" W x 3.00" D) easily drops into tight control enclosures and supports optional snap-on DIN rail mounting brackets or auxiliary contact modules to adapt to your specific enclosure layout.
