- This TeSys K differential thermal overload relay features integrated phase failure sensitivity that monitors current balance across all three phases. If a single-phasing event or a critical phase unbalance occurs, the internal mechanism trips rapidly to cut power to the control circuit, protecting your expensive 3-phase fractional-horsepower motors from catastrophic overheating and premature winding burnout.
- Designed for seamless, plug-and-play mechanical integration, this overload relay clips and bolts directly onto the bottom terminals of the TeSys K miniature contactor series (such as the LC1K or LP1K). This direct-mounting architecture eliminates the need for extra interconnecting wires, reduces labor times, and keeps your overall control assembly footprint remarkably compact on the DIN rail.
- This device comes factory-equipped with 1 NO (Normally Open) and 1 NC (Normally Closed) auxiliary contacts rated for standard industrial control circuits. The NC contact wires directly into your contactor coil loop to drop out power during a fault, while the NO contact simultaneously signals a local pilot light or routes a discrete digital input back to a supervisory PLC for immediate fault diagnosis.
