    Description

    TeSys LRD overload relays are designed to be used with TeSys D contactors to make a motor starter. This overload relay can be used with 80 amp through 95 amp TeSys D contactors. These differential thermal overload relays detect over currents in the lines to the motor. When an overcurrent is detected the overload relay working with the contactor will disconnect the power to the motor. This will minimize the damage to the motor windings. This overload relay has an adjustable trip current rating of 63 to 80 amperes. This trip current rating is calibrated per Class 10A. Multi standards certified (IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC, ATEX, Marine).

    Features

    • Equipped with an adjustable dial spanning 63 to 80 Amps, this relay allows field technicians to calibrate thermal protection precisely to a motor's specific nameplate rating.
    • Designed for a perfect mechanical layout, the LRD3363 mounts directly beneath standard TeSys Deca LC1D80 and LC1D95 3-pole contactors. This plug-and-play assembly completely eliminates extra interconnecting wires, reducing enclosure clutter, simplifying terminal torque steps, and saving significant installation time for commercial panel builders.
    • This differential bimetallic device features built-in phase failure and load unbalance detection that rapidly trips the system if a power phase drops out. By promptly breaking the control circuit before winding heat can spike dangerously, it saves high-value three-phase industrial motors from terminal breakdown and catastrophic burnout.
    • Featuring a clear, sealable protective cover, this relay physically secures your specific amp settings against accidental movement or unauthorized manipulation. Paired with explicit stop and manual/auto-reset buttons, a functional trip-test mechanism, and 1NO+1NC built-in auxiliary contacts, it delivers seamless fault signaling and safe, highly predictable maintenance workflows.
