    Description

    TeSys LRD overload relays are designed to be used with TeSys D contactors to make a motor starter. This overload relay can be used with 9 amp through 38 amp TeSys D contactors. These differential thermal overload relays detect over currents in the lines to the motor. When an overcurrent is detected the overload relay working with the contactor will disconnect the power to the motor. This will minimize the damage to the motor windings. This overload relay has an adjustable trip current rating of 16 to 24 amperes. This trip current rating is calibrated per Class 10A. This overload relay uses EVERLINK termnals in place of the standard terminals.

    • Engineered for seamless mechanical integration, the LRD332 mounts directly beneath Schneider Electric's TeSys Deca LC1D40A through LC1D65A 3-pole contactors. This plug-and-play connection eliminates the need for extra interconnecting wires or external mounting brackets, maximizing available rail space and dramatically reducing assembly time for commercial panel builders.
    • Built with advanced differential mechanism logic, the LRD332 automatically compensates for ambient temperature variations and rapidly detects an unbalance or total loss of a phase. By tripping the control circuit before winding heat can spike dangerously, it saves high-value three-phase motors from catastrophic insulation breakdown and failure.
    • Operating on a rigorous Class 10A trip curve, this relay guarantees a reliable circuit disconnect within 10 seconds of encountering a locked-rotor or 600% overload condition. This standardized timing provides optimal thermal protection for general-purpose applications like conveyors, fans, and pumps, ensuring code-compliant safety.
