    Description

    TeSys LRD overload relays are designed to be used with TeSys D contactors to make a motor starter. This overload relay can be used with 40 amp through 65 amp TeSys D contactors. These differential thermal overload relays detect over currents in the lines to the motor. When an overcurrent is detected the overload relay working with the contactor will disconnect the power to the motor. This will minimize the damage to the motor windings. This overload relay has an adjustable trip current rating of 48 to 65 amperes. This trip current rating is calibrated per Class 10A. This overload relay uses EVERLINK termnals in place of the standard terminals.

This precise fine-tuning prevents frequent nuisance trips during heavy machine startup cycles while ensuring reliable overcurrent protection for demanding industrial pumps, fans, and shredders.
    • Operating on a proven Class 10A trip curve, this relay is engineered to disconnect power within 10 seconds of experiencing a locked-rotor or heavy 600% overload condition. This standardized performance balance delivers highly responsive protection for general-purpose industrial equipment while easily tolerating normal high-inrush currents during initial motor acceleration.
    • Designed with a transparent, sealable protective cover, this unit physically locks your specific current parameters to prevent accidental movement or unauthorized manipulation. Paired with explicit stop and manual/auto-reset buttons, an integrated trip-test mechanism, and 1NO+1NC built-in auxiliary contacts, it provides seamless fault signaling and highly predictable maintenance workflows.
