Description

TeSys LRD thermal overload relay, 65A/1000V, thermal setting range 48-65A, tripping class 10A, for protection of 3-phase motors 30kW@400V. Differential device with phase failure and load unbalance detection. It provides a thermal adjustement dial, a manual-automatic reset selector acting also as reset button, a trip test button for simulation of a tripping, a stop button, a flag indicator and 2 auxiliary contacts 1NO+1NC for fault signalling. Settings are protected by a transparent cover lockable by sealing. Connection by screw clamp terminals, it connects directly to the bottom terminals of 3-pole contactors LC1D80-D95. Mounting on DIN rail or screw fixing, separated from the contactor, with use of a terminal block LA7D3064 (to be ordered separately). Multi standards certified (IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC, ATEX, Marine), Green Premium compliant (RoHs/Reach).

  • This differential overload relay monitors incoming current and rapidly triggers a trip if it detects a single-phase loss or a major phase unbalance. By breaking the control circuit before the motor windings overheat from running on unbalanced voltage, it shields critical plant equipment from catastrophic insulation failure and expensive burnouts.
  • Calibrated strictly to a Class 10A trip curve, this safety device guarantees a reliable circuit interruption within 10 seconds of an overcurrent or locked-rotor event. This standard-speed response safely absorbs temporary inrush currents when starting high-inertia loads while responding quickly enough to preserve the operational lifespan of your motor infrastructure.
