Description

TeSys LRD overload relays are designed to be used with TeSys D contactors to make a motor starter. This overload relay can be used with 9 amp through 38 amp TeSys D contactors. These differential thermal overload relays detect over currents in the lines to the motor. When an overcurrent is detected the overload relay working with the contactor will disconnect the power to the motor. This will minimize the damage to the motor windings. This overload relay has an adjustable trip current rating of 0.4 to 0.63 amperes. This trip current rating is calibrated per Class 10A. Multi standards certified (IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC, ATEX, Marine).

  • Engineered for seamless mechanical and electrical connection, the LRD04 plugs directly into the bottom of LC1D09 through LC1D38 contactors. This "plug-and-play" integration eliminates the need for additional mounting brackets or complex wiring, significantly reducing panel assembly time and ensuring a compact, vibration-resistant footprint within your control enclosure.
  • Equipped with a blue "Reset" button and a red "Stop" button, this unit provides flexible control for your maintenance workflow. You can toggle between manual reset for supervised safety or automatic reset for remote applications, while the built-in test trip simulation allows you to verify the internal mechanism and control wiring without needing an actual fault, ensuring your safety systems are always "mission-ready."
