Description
Amp-Trap 2000 time-delay ATDR small-dimension fuses provide IEC Type 2 "no damage" protection to your facility's increasingly sensitive branch circuit components and small motors - minimizing the risk of fault-related damage. ATDR Class CC fuses deliver the best time-delay characteristics in their class with excellent cycling ability for small motor loads.

- The ATDR15 is a 15-Amp, 600V AC/300V DC Class CC time-delay fuse from Mersen’s Amp-Trap 2000® series. It features a unique "rejection" tip that prevents the installation of lower-rated or incorrect fuse classes into critical control circuits, ensuring that your equipment remains protected by the exact specifications required by the manufacturer.
- Designed with superior time-delay characteristics, the ATDR15 is specifically engineered to handle the high "inrush" currents associated with small motor starts and control transformer energization. It provides a "soft" response to temporary surges while offering ultra-fast "current-limiting" protection during actual short-circuit events, preventing catastrophic damage to sensitive downstream components.
- This fuse is highly current-limiting, meaning it can stop a massive electrical fault in less than half a cycle (<0.008 seconds). With an interrupting rating of 200,000 Amps RMS, it significantly reduces the "let-through" energy (I^2t) during a fault, which lowers the risk of arc flash and helps maintain a high Short Circuit Current Rating (SCCR) for your entire electrical panel.
- Constructed with a high-grade fiberglass body and silver-plated copper contact caps, the ATDR15 provides exceptional dimensional stability and electrical conductivity.
