Description
CHOMT Homeline miniature circuit breakers are engineered and designed for fast installation and superior circuit protection. Homeline circuit breakers are designed to plug into Homeline load centers to provide circuit protection. This CHOMT circuit breaker is a quad tandem breaker. This quad tandem breaker occupies two CHOM pole spaces. This quad tandem circuit breaker consists of a two pole breaker in the middle and a single breaker on each side. This quad tandem circuit breaker provides a standard circuit protection and is HACR rated. The two pole breaker is rated 30 A at 120/240 VAC and the single pole breakers are rated 15 A and 15 A at 120/240 VAC. This circuit breaker provides 10 kA breaking capacity. This quad tandem breaker will accept 14 AWG to 8 AWG copper or aluminum wire. The tandem breaker is 3.13 inches tall, 2.00 inches wide and 2.98 inches deep. HOMT tandem breakers are CSA certified.

- The CHOMT1515230 is a high-density "Quad" circuit breaker from the Schneider Electric Homeline (CHOM) series. It is engineered to provide four circuits while occupying only two 1-inch spaces on the bus bar. This makes it a specialized solution for expanding a residential panel that has no remaining physical slots.
- This specific model number defines the amperage of the four circuits: Outer Poles: Two independent 15-Amp single-pole breakers (for 120V general-purpose lighting or outlets). Inner Poles: One 30-Amp double-pole breaker (for a 240V appliance). This setup is commonly used to add a 30A load (like an electric water heater or a small central AC unit) while simultaneously providing two standard 15A circuits.
- This breaker is designed exclusively for Schneider Electric Homeline (CHOM) load centers. It features a "rejection" mounting clip on the bottom, meaning it will only install in specific slots of a "Tandem-Ready" panel (indicated by a notch in the bus bar). It is not compatible with Square D QO, Eaton, Siemens, or GE panels.
- The two inner 30-Amp poles are physically and internally linked. If an overload or fault occurs on either side of the 240V circuit, both inner poles trip simultaneously to prevent "single-phasing." The two outer 15A handles operate independently, ensuring that a fault on a bedroom light circuit won't shut down your 30A water heater.
- The CHOMT1515230 is fully CSA Certified and compliant with the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC). It features high-quality terminals that accept copper or aluminum wire.
