Description
This Harmony XAC, emergency stop / shutdown 40mm mushroom red push-button head operates with a latched turn to release mechanism. This emergency stop button head is ideal for situations where quick actions are required for a process or machine to function correctly or where operator movements require maximum ergonomy. It is clearly distinguishable visually at a distance thanks to a prominent 40mm mushroom shape. Its schematic is clearly distinguishable thanks to clear colors, minimizing errors during initial wiring and later maintenance operations. It is impact resistant, dust resistant, water resistant and vibration resistant thanks to its IP65, making it ideal for operation in harsh (heavy) environments. It is designed to fit in a standard 22mm cutout, ensuring compatibility when installing in pre-existing machinery.

- Part of the Harmony XAC and XB4 heritage component lines, this ZA2BS844 trigger-action actuator is purpose-built to serve as a high-reliability Emergency Stop (E-Stop) control head. It features a prominent 40 mm red mushroom-head operator that provides an explicit, high-visibility manual interface for machine operators to instantly shut down hazardous equipment during a factory-floor crisis.
- This premium operator features an advanced trigger-action latching mechanism that mechanically locks in the depressed, safe position the exact millisecond it is struck. It can only be reset via a deliberate twist-to-release turn action, preventing machinery from accidentally restarting if a technician prematurely lets go of the button or if adjacent machinery vibrations jar the panel.
- This 22 mm mounting head is engineered for seamless physical integration with standard Schneider Electric ZA2B series contact block bodies and fixing bases. It drops directly onto your existing control configurations, allowing maintenance teams to easily replace damaged emergency heads on older pendant stations or control pulpits without buying entirely new contact blocks.
- This heavy-duty structural engineering ensures the button will not jam, crack, or suffer material fatigue over decades of continuous exposure in unconditioned environments ranging from -25°C up to 70°C.
