Description
TeSys LRK thermal overload relay, 2.6A/690V, thermal setting range 1.8-2.6A, tripping class 10A, for protection of 3-phase motors 0.75kW@400V. Differential device with phase failure and load unbalance detection. It provides a thermal adjustement dial, a manual-automatic reset selector, a test slide switch for simulation of a tripping, reset/stop button, a flag indicator and 2 auxiliary contacts 1NO+1NC for fault signalling. Settings are protected by a transparent cover lockable by sealing. Connection by screw clamp terminals, it connects directly to the bottom terminals of 3-pole contactors LC1K06-K16. Mounting on DIN rail, separated from the contactor, with use of a terminal block LA7K0064 (to be ordered separately). Multi standards certified (IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC), Green Premium compliant (RoHs/Reach).
Features
- This module features a high-visibility yellow flag indicator that pops out instantly upon a fault condition. It includes a red push-button for simulation/trip testing, a blue push-button for standard stopping and manual reset, and an integrated selector dial that allows the user to switch between manual or automatic reset modes based on site requirements.
- Built with a factory-integrated 1 NO + 1 NC auxiliary contact loop, this relay handles standard AC-15 pilot duties up to 690V and DC-13 signaling up to 250V. When an overload triggers a trip, the NC contact breaks the main contactor coil loop to drop the motor off the line, while the NO contact simultaneously closes to report a fault telemetry signal to a supervisory control panel or PLC.
- Equipped with multi-driver screw clamp terminals (compatible with Philips No. 2, Pozidriv No. 2, and 6mm flat screwdrivers), the landing blocks accept a wire range from 0.34 mm² up to 4 mm² (solid or flexible). Tightening the terminal screws to the manufacturer-specified torque of 11.5 lbf-in (1.3 N-m) ensures a compression fit that accommodates cyclical thermal expansion and prevents localized resistive hot spots.
- This ultra-compact module measures just 45mm wide, 58mm high, and 65mm deep, clipping directly onto the base terminals of standard TeSys K contactors (LC1K, LP1K, LC7K, and LP4K series). This plug-and-play mechanical alignment minimizes panel space requirements and eliminates the need for interconnecting jumper wires, while an independent base adapter (LA7K0064) allows for separate DIN rail or backplate mounting if required.
