Description

TeSys K overload relays are designed to be used with TeSys K contactors to make a motor starter. These differential thermal overload relays detect over currents in the lines to the motor. When an overcurrent is detected the overload relay working with the contactor will disconnect the power to the motor. This will minimize the damage to the motor windings. This overload relay has an adjustable trip current rating of 5.5 to 8 amperes. This trip current rating is calibrated per Class 10A. Mounting on DIN rail, separated from the contactor, with use of a terminal block LA7K0064 (to be ordered separately). Multi standards certified (IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC).

The Schneider Electric LR2K0314 features an adjustable thermal protection setting range of 5.5 to 8 Amps, allowing precision tuning via an integrated front dial. This adjustable current window ensures code-compliant overcurrent protection tailored directly to your specific motor nameplate rating, preventing costly motor burnouts while eliminating frustrating nuisance tripping.
Built with advanced differential mechanics, the unit includes proactive phase failure and load unbalance detection conforming to strict IEC 60947-4-1 standards. This overload relay features integrated 1 NO + 1 NC auxiliary contacts for fault signaling, a prominent yellow flag trip indicator, and dedicated blue/red push-buttons for stop, manual/auto reset, and test simulations. This allows field electricians to quickly diagnose system faults, test control logic safety loops, and choose the ideal recovery mode to safely minimize operational downtime.
