Description
TeSys LRD thermal overload relay, 32A/1000V, thermal setting range 23-32A, tripping class 10A, for protection of 3-phase motors 15kW@400V. Differential device with phase failure and load unbalance detection. It provides a thermal adjustement dial, a manual-automatic reset selector acting also as reset button, a trip test button for simulation of a tripping, a stop button, a flag indicator and 2 auxiliary contacts 1NO+1NC for fault signalling. Settings are protected by a transparent cover lockable by sealing. Connection by screw clamp terminals, it connects directly to the bottom terminals of 3-pole contactors LC1D80-D95. Mounting on DIN rail or screw fixing, separated from the contactor, with use of a terminal block LA7D3064 (to be ordered separately). Multi standards certified (IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC, ATEX, Marine), Green Premium compliant (RoHs/Reach).

By providing a custom-fit thermal protection curve, it prevents motor burnout caused by phase imbalance or steady-state overloads, significantly extending the service life of expensive industrial pumps, fans, and compressors.
- This relay is rated as Class 10, meaning it is optimized to trip within 10 seconds or less at 600% of the maximum setting. It provides the ideal balance for standard-starting industrial motors—offering enough delay to avoid nuisance tripping during startup while reacting rapidly to genuine fault conditions to protect internal motor windings from overheating.
- Equipped with a versatile selector for manual or automatic reset, this unit gives you total control over your system's recovery logic. The integrated "Stop" and "Test" buttons allow technicians to simulate a trip condition safely during commissioning, ensuring that the N/C and N/O auxiliary contacts correctly trigger your PLC or alarm circuits before the machine goes live.
- Built with advanced differential tripping technology, the LRD3353 is highly sensitive to phase loss and load unbalance.
