    Description

TeSys LRD thermal overload relay, 2.5A/690V, thermal setting range 1.6-2.5A, tripping class 10A, for protection of 3-phase motors 0.75kW@400V. Differential device with phase failure and load unbalance detection. It provides a thermal adjustement dial, a manual-automatic reset selector, a test selector for simulation of a tripping, reset and stop buttons, a flag indicator and 2 auxiliary contacts 1NO+1NC for fault signalling. Settings are protected by a transparent cover lockable by sealing. Connection by screw clamp terminals, it connects directly to the bottom terminals of 3-pole contactors LC1D09-D38. Mounting on DIN rail or screw fixing, separated from the contactor, with use of a terminal block LAD7B106 (to be ordered separately). Multi standards certified (IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC, ATEX, Marine), Green Premium compliant (RoHs/Reach).

    Features

    • The LRD07 is a TeSys Deca differential thermal overload relay designed to protect AC motors from overcurrent, phase unbalance, and phase failure. It monitors the current flowing to the motor and automatically trips the circuit if the levels exceed safe limits, preventing the motor windings from overheating and suffering permanent insulation damage.
    • This unit features a precision adjustment dial with a range of 1.6 to 2.5 Amps. This allows you to calibrate the protection exactly to your motor's Full Load Amps (FLA), ensuring a tight safety margin that prevents nuisance tripping during normal operation while reacting instantly to mechanical jams or electrical faults.
    • The LRD07 is a differential relay, meaning it is specifically engineered to detect an imbalance between phases. If one phase is lost—a common cause of rapid motor burnout—the relay will trip significantly faster than a standard overload, providing an essential layer of defense for your three-phase equipment.
    • The relay comes equipped with 1 NO (Normally Open) and 1 NC (Normally Closed) auxiliary contacts. Typically, the NC contact is wired in series with the contactor coil to stop the motor upon a fault, while the NO contact provides a signal to a pilot light or PLC input to alert operators that a trip has occurred.
    • The LRD07 features a blue selector lever that allows you to toggle between Manual and Automatic reset modes. It also includes an integrated "Stop" button that allows you to manually break the control circuit and a "Test" function to verify the integrity of the internal trip mechanism without disconnecting any wiring.
