Description
LRD03 is a TeSys LRD thermal overload relay from Schneider Electric to be used with a TeSys D contactor. It protects motors 0.06-0.09kW@400V thanks to a thermal range 0.25-0.40A, a tripping class 10A and phase unbalance protection. LRD03 is a TeSys LRD thermal overload relay from Schneider Electric for direct mounting on TeSys D contactors. With a thermal setting range 0.25-0.40A, a tripping class 10A and phase unbalance detection, it protects motors 0.06-0.09kW@400V. It provides manual test & reset buttons, automatic reset, trip auxiliary contact and flag indicator. Available worldwide, it is multi-standards certified (IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC, Marine). Thermal overload protection relay, bimetallic type, with phase unbalance protection (differential). Direct mounting on the bottom terminals of a Tesys contactor LC1D09-D38 to form a compact starter. Light and compact, 45mm wide. Temperature compensated for a good accuracy of the protection. Manual control with test & reset buttons, manual / automatic reset selector. Trip signaling with 1NO+1NC auxiliary contacts and trip flag indicator. Can be completed with terminal blocks for separate mounting (LAD7B, LAD96) and remote control devices (LAD703, LA7D03).
Features
- Belonging to the premium TeSys Deca (formerly TeSys D) family, this module features a front-mounted adjustable dial with a precise thermal protection setting range of 0.25 to 0.4 Amps. It adheres strictly to Class 10A tripping characteristics conforming to IEC 60947-4-1, meaning it guarantees a reliable trip within 10 seconds during a locked-rotor or high-current stall condition.
- The faceplate is equipped with a transparent, sealable protective cover shielding a manual/automatic reset selector, a test button to simulate standard tripping, an independent stop button, and a visual trip indicator flag. It also houses an integrated 1 NO (Normally Open) + 1 NC (Normally Closed) auxiliary contact set, allowing the NC contact to drop out the main contactor coil while the NO contact simultaneously passes a fault signal to a PLC or pilot light.
