Description
TeSys Vario switch disconnector for door mounting, 3 poles, 40A/690V, for motor switching applications up to 15kW@400V AC-23. Complete unit composed of a switch body V2, a red handle with yellow 60x60mm front plate KCD1PZ. Intended for main and emergency stop switch disconnecting usage. Padlockable handle, for 3 padlocks (to be ordered separately). Handle with central fixing on door, ensuring IP65 to the mounting. Multi standards certified (IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC, Marine), Green Premium compliant (RoHS/REACh).
Features
- Engineered as a high-performance 3-pole (3NO) TeSys Vario switch-disconnector, this unit is rated for an operational current of 40A and up to 690V AC. It supports motor switching applications up to 15 kW at 400V under demanding AC-23A utilization categories, enabling immediate and reliable on-load making and breaking of highly inductive circuits without danger of contact failure.
- This complete unit comes equipped with a high-visibility, ergonomic red rotary handle matched against a bold 60x60mm yellow front plate. This standardized color architecture satisfies global industrial safety standards for emergency stop positioning, allowing facility workers to immediately locate and isolate machinery power feeds during an operational emergency.
- Built with comprehensive padlocking security features, the red rotary handle can accept between 1 to 3 independent padlocks (diameters from 4 to 8 mm) simultaneously when placed in the "0" (OFF) position. This hardware capability keeps your lockouts robust and tamper-resistant, safeguarding field maintenance teams from accidental circuit re-energization during intensive apparatus cleanings or repairs.
- Designed with a simplified single-hole central fixing configuration, this disconnector mounts through a standard 22.5 mm cutout on any control enclosure front door. The physical layout separates the exterior operator handle from the main interior switch body (V2 frame), ensuring optimal terminal access behind the door while keeping the front layout exceptionally clean.
