Description

TeSys Deca time delay auxiliary contact block, for contactors LC1D, LC1F and control relays CAD. It provides 1NO+1NC contacts rated up to 10A 690V AC, On-delay setting range 10-180s, connection by screw clamp terminals. Clip-on front mounting, it procures high reliability and durability. Multi standards certified (IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC).

Features

  • Custom-designed to integrate time-delayed operations directly into control logic, this mechanical auxiliary block provides an accurate On-Delay timing function. When the hosting device is energized, the module delays its state transition for a user-specified duration, making it ideal for managing staggered motor startups, conveyor sequencing, and simple industrial automation cycles without needing a standalone electronic timing relay.
  • Belonging to the premium TeSys Deca (formerly TeSys D) ecosystem, this block mounts smoothly onto the front-face track of standard 3-pole and 4-pole TeSys Deca contactors (such as the LC1D09 through LC1D95 series) as well as CAD control relays. It utilizes a simple, tool-free snap-on mechanism that locks securely onto the contactor's moving carrier without modifying the base footprint or requiring external mounting space.
  • This timer features a built-in rotary dial on the front face that allows operators to easily dial in an On-Delay window spanning 10 to 180 seconds. The internal pneumatic mechanism relies on regulated air displacement rather than delicate solid-state circuitry, ensuring reliable, repeatable delay performance that remains unaffected by electrical noise or voltage fluctuations across the control grid.
  • The block is configured with a 1 NO (Normally Open) + 1 NC (Normally Closed) contact set with a 1.5 ms non-overlap window to ensure both contacts never close simultaneously. The contacts feature a thermal current rating of up to 10 A and a maximum insulation rating of 690 V AC conforming to IEC 60947-5-1, allowing them to easily pilot command loops, status indicators, PLC inputs, and secondary interlock coils.
  • Equipped with multi-standard screw clamp terminals, this block accepts flexible or solid copper wiring up to 2.5 mm2 and can be torqued down cleanly with Flat, Philips No. 2, or Pozidriv No. 2 screwdrivers. It carries an IP20 finger-safe environmental protection rating and satisfies strict international safety regulation. This includes UL, CSA, and CE listings. This ensures your assembled control panels pass rigorous municipal and facility field inspections.
