This Modicon MCM standard ("non-safe") communication module has one Profibus DP connection with a Sub-D 9 connector. It is designed to monitor remotely your safety system with the commonly used Profibus DP protocol, without additional gateways. The non-safe communication modules are designed for diagnostics connection and data communication purposes to machine field bus or network systems.
