- Rated for 95 Amps under AC-3 utilization categories ($45\text{ kW}$ at $380/400\text{V}$), this TeSys Deca contactor is purpose-built for demanding, high-inrush motor control applications. It ensures reliable, repetitive starting and stopping of heavy industrial equipment like large ventilation fans, industrial compressors, and high-capacity centrifugal pumps without contact welding.
- Equipped with a standard 120V AC coil (G7 voltage code) operating at both 50Hz and 60Hz, this contactor seamlessly drops into standard plant control topologies. It eliminates the need for auxiliary control transformers, allowing direct connection to standard control transformers, timing relays, and push-button stations commonly deployed across commercial and industrial facilities.
- Outfitted with integrated, mechanically linked auxiliary contacts (1 Normally Open + Normally Closed) the device provides instant, real-time feedback to PLCs, pilot lights, or secondary safety circuits. The dual-contact architecture allows panel builders to configure hardwired electrical cross-interlocking between forward/reversing contactor pairs or star-delta starters out of the box, saving valuable DIN rail space.
- Boasting robust electrical endurance and high breaking capacity, this contactor coordinates perfectly with Schneider’s TeSys Overload Relays and circuit breakers to achieve Type 2 coordination. This ensures that even after a severe short-circuit or overcurrent event, the contactor sustains minimal damage, preventing catastrophic panel fires and drastically reducing post-fault restoration costs.
